From the banks of Sabarmati

The Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad so named after the holy river Sabarmati, is a working ashram and a museum which preserves and propagate the legacy of the Mahatma.
Hundreds of visitors, arrive here and feel inspired and enlightened.
The  ashram  has stood witness to many important happenings, which were instrumental in  shaping  Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi into the Mahatma and the Father of the Nation.

Today on 2nd October on the birthdate of the Mahatma I am sharing some snapshots of the ashram captured through my lens during our visit there last December.
