Monsoon Bites

Yes, this is what we eat when it rains with the pitter-patter playing outside.
Roasted corn on the cobs with a dash of lime juice and rock salt smeared over.Roasted ground nuts and boiled sweet corns.

Hot tempuras (of chillies, potatoes, onions, bell peppers, egg plant) with a cup of hot ginger tea to wash it down.

Roasted Papads with a sprinkle of onions and coriander leaves sprinkled over it !
Last but not the least, is Moongdal's Khicdi(rice with lentils)and a dollop of ghee(clarified butter)over it + spicy Mutton curry...... bliss! Serve them in glazed earthern wares to add the desi touch
Enjoy the rains till they last, after all...
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to  pass ....
it's learning to dance in the rain.
A happy week ahead to all .

I can just taste the spices. You have to tell us how to make everything, it looks heavenly!
